1) Understand electrolysis
2) Production of electrical energy from chemical
reactions
|
Learning
Outcomes
|
In the end of the lesson,
students can be able to:
1) Explain the uses of electrolysis in industry
2) Describe how a simple cell works
|
Activities
|
1) Explaining the example of electrolysis in
industry like extraction of reactive metals, electroplating and purifying
metals by using diagram of the process
2) Reinforcement of students knowledge by asking question
relating to the topic
3) By using diagram, teacher explains how simple
cell work and the energy change in it
4) Generating students’ ideas to differentiate
between electrolysis cell and simple cell
|
Noble Value
|
1) Punctual
2) Systematic
3) Appreciate
the development of technology

3) Analyse the balance in nature
|
Learning Outcomes
|
In the end of the lesson, students can be able to:
1)
Describe what balance in nature is
2)
State the natural cycles that help to
maintain balance in nature
3)
Explain how these natural cycles help to
maintain balance in nature
4)
Explain how food webs help to maintain
balance in nature
5)
Explain with examples the effects of
natural disasters on balance in nature
6)
Suggest ways to maintain balance in
nature
|
Activities
|
1) Explaining how the nature balance by
stating the cycles involve in maintaining balance in nature
2) Regenerating students idea of food
webs then discussing how the food webs help to maintain balance in nature
3) Discussion on the effect of natural
disaster on balance in nature
4) Asking students how to maintain
balance in nature
|
Noble Value
|
Appreciate the balance of nature
|
Teaching Aids

Reflection
|
Most students understand cycles involve in nature by
relating the cycles with daily life. Some students do not remember of food
webs, thus teacher have to explain and then asking opinion what would happen
when some population in the food web suddenly decrease or increase. From the
lesson, students can give the right answer for the questions asked.
