2)   Explain with examples the process of extraction of a metal form its ore using carbon
3)   State the importance of the reactivity series
4)   State what electrolysis is
5)   State what anode, cathode, anion, cation and electrolyte are

1)    Relating position of metals in the reactivity series to the method of extraction of metals from their ores
2)   Giving example of metal extraction in industry from diagram.
3)   Generate students thinking skills for the importance of the reactivity series.
4)   Explaining the concept of electrolysis.

Lesson was changed into experiment of production of ethanol which ic fermentation as for many of the students have to go to the mathematics seminar.
