Energy and Chemical Changes
|
Learning Objectives
|
1) Synthesis the reactivity series of metals
2) Understand electrolysis
|
Learning Outcomes
|
In the end of the lesson, students can be
able to:
1) Identify the position of carbon in the
reactivity series
2)
State what electrolysis.
3) State what anode, cathode, and electrolyte.
|
Activities
|
1) Explaining reaction between carbon and metal
that less reactive than carbon.
2) Explaining reaction between carbon and metal
that more reactive than carbon.
3)
Explaining
the concept of electrolysis.
4) Explaining with diagram about anode, cathode and
electrolyte.
|
Noble Value
|
Systematic
|
Teaching Aids
|
Science’s textbook, white board, marker pen
|
Reflection
|
Lesson was done up to apply concept of
reactivity series of metals in extraction. Students still under control but
some of them just look at the whiteboard without listen to teacher
explanation. Teacher need to use other way to attract those students’
attentions.

Learning Objectives
|
1)
Apply the concepts of reactivity series
of metals
|
Learning Outcomes
|
In the end of the lesson, students can be
able to:
1)
Explain the example of extraction of tin
from its ore as the example of metal extraction from its ore.
2)
State the importance of the reactivity
series
|
Activities
|
1) Explaining the extraction of tin from tin ores
as the example of the metal extraction from its ore.
2) Generating students thinking skills about the
importance of reactivity series of metals.
3) Reinforce students knowledge by giving questions
related to the topic learned
|
Noble Value
|
Confidence
|
Teaching Aids
|
Science’s Text book, Science process skills,
marker pen, white board
|
Reflection
|
Students were well
control. Most of them understood lesson as they can answer teacher questions.

1)
Synthesis the reactivity series of metals
2)
Understand electrolysis
|
Learning Outcomes
|
In the end of the lesson, students can be
able to:
1)
Relate the position of metals in the
reactivity series to the method of extraction of metals from its own ores
2)
State what electrolysis.
3)
State what anode, cathode, and
electrolyte.
|
Activities
|
1) Discussing the application of the reactivity
series of metal in metal extraction by using Science Process skills.
2) Explaining the concept of electrolysis.
3) Explaining with diagram about anode, cathode and
electrolyte.

Noble Value
|
Diligent
|
Teaching Aids
|
Science’s textbook, Science process skills,
white board, marker pen
|
Reflection
|
Teacher need to find method that can attract
few students that do not pay attention during the lesson. This situation keep
disturb other students that really want to study.
